1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Dream Residences , you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Services Description
Dream Residences provides premium home renovation, interior and exterior design, smart home installation, security systems, solar panel installation, landscaping, and home warranty services. The specific scope, timeline, and cost of each project will be outlined in a separate Service Agreement between the client and Dream Residences .
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided by Dream Residences are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are estimates based on preliminary assessments and may be adjusted following a detailed on-site evaluation. Final pricing will be confirmed in the Service Agreement before any work commences. We do not charge hidden fees — any changes to the quoted price will be communicated and approved by you in writing.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit of 30% of the total project cost is required upon signing the Service Agreement to secure your booking and begin procurement. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed upon in a milestone-based payment schedule. Payment can be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or approved financing plans. Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of the deposit minus a 5% administrative fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date will forfeit the deposit. Once work has commenced, refunds will be prorated based on the work completed and materials procured. Dream Residences reserves the right to cancel a project if payment terms are not met, in which case a prorated refund will be issued.
6. Project Timeline
While we strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to: supply chain disruptions, weather conditions, permit delays, or structural discoveries. Dream Residences will notify you promptly of any delays and provide a revised timeline. We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access to the project site, make decisions on design selections within reasonable timeframes, ensure the site is prepared as agreed, and communicate any concerns or changes through official channels. Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in project delays and additional charges.
8. Warranty
Dream Residences provides a 5-year structural warranty on all renovation work and honors manufacturer warranties on installed products (which may range from 1 to 25 years depending on the product). Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, or failure to perform recommended maintenance.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, plans, renderings, and creative materials produced by Dream Residences remain the intellectual property of Dream Residences until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client receives a license to use the designs for the specified project only. Reproduction, distribution, or use of our designs for other purposes requires written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Dream Residences 's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our liability for defects in workmanship is limited to the cost of correcting the defect.
11. Insurance
Dream Residences maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Clients are encouraged to verify their own homeowner's insurance covers renovation activities. Dream Residences is not responsible for damage to personal property not removed or protected as directed by our team.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be submitted to mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in New York, NY.
13. Modifications to Terms
Dream Residences reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
